The “Nobody Knows Nuttin’” Defense

That’s right. Nobody knows nuttin’ about the Obamcare fiasco. That’s usually what happens when everyone’s in charge butt nobody’s responsible.

Big Guy was given the royal mushroom treatment; which is fine because he’s more of a big picture guy anyway.

Speaking to CNN, Kathleen Sebelius, the country's Health and Human Services Secretary, said Mr Obama first learned of them 'the first couple of days after' the site went live on October 1.

When asked if he knew of any of the website's problems before that, she replied: 'No, sir.'

Kathypotomous herself was unaware of the the program “glitches” because she is more of an oversight person than a detail gal. And so she just closed her eyes, clicked her ruby red heels together and HOPED it would work.

Sebelius admitted the government had hoped the HealthCare.gov website had the 'A-team' working on it from the start, when asked why the experts were not brought in before its launch.

She told CNN:

‘We want to make sure that we get all the questions on the table, that we get all the answers and accelerator the fix as quickly as possible.'

In my experience, really Big Idea/Big Picture people with Big Brains (BBs) try to do that first; before getting into the detail plans and programming. Butt I guess our transformation strategy works a little differently.

So, despite our humble attempts to keep our “You didn’t build that” defense meme alive;

we’ve been forced to reboot and accept the same reality that real businesses do; that is, if we succeed, Big Guy will take the credit:

butt if we fail, well, that’ll be your own damn fault. Because, like I said, Barry’s sort of a “big picture” guy.

Then, I open up my mail bag this morning and find this from a self-proclaimed “regular reader and fan”:

…I could be wrong, but anyway....somebody needs to tell Obama, the architect of Obamacare that "You DID build this. Nobody else made it happen"!! and use his own words against him. Maybe MOTUS can let him know!!

Oh my! I thought he said he was a fan! It sounds like he’s trying to get me fired - nobody “Alinskies” our Alinskyite and lives to tell about it. Never-the-less, I did analyze the situation to determine if DT had a leg to stand on:

In 2008, Big Guy campaigned against Hillarycare, a mandatory, universal health care insurance system. He “reasoned” that it was un-American, and probably un-Constitutional, to require everybody to buy health care insurance. So you might say he was against it, before he was for it.

Later, after fundamentally transforming America and nullifying that pesky document of negative liberties, he evolved to support the idea of mandatory, universal health care insurance, now, transformed into the much more attractive “Obamacare.”

Big Guy, being the big picture guy, then tossed the ~~turd~~ ball to his loyal Obots to “pass the bill” and later “find out what’s in it.” Fancy Nancy and Grimy Harry grabbed the ball, fussed and feuded with it until they found just the right mix of bribes, kickbacks and threats that, when combined with ITB (Inside The Beltway) trickery and skullduggery, would suffice to prevent the pesky “document of negative liberty” (DONL) from getting in the way. Sure enough; reconciliation! They implemented a new rule that deemed the biggest ~~tax increase~~ ~~penalty~~ tax increase in the history of the solar system originated in the House, rather than actually originating there, as previously required by the DONL.

Butt let’s not get lost in the weeds here, I just wanted to determine whether Big Picture Barry was completely responsible for this BFD known as Obamacare. I’m going to rule, “no.” On the one hand it would be tempting to say “You DID build this (BFD) on your own!” to Big Guy’s face; on the other hand, it’s growing painfully more apparent every day that “nobody else made it happen” (which is to say, our little people let us down).

Maybe our “tech surge” will work, at which point we can all take a bow, high-five, spike the ball and move on to immigration “reform.”
