A Trade You Can Believe In

ObamaTrade is on hold for now - thanks to a handful of Democrats who were surprised and offended that Big Guy came to solicit their votes by guilting them and impugning their integrity.

nancy and her donkeys

Why the surprise? That’s how Barry always deals with people who dare question his directives.

So Democrats rejected a Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) measure (like dozens of others they’ve always  approved enthusiastically and unconditionally). That negated the subsequent symbolic passage of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) which was not allowed to high-speed railroad us into economic suicide without the accompanying TAA.

donkey pong

Apparently the donkey balls couldn’t convince their union leadership that a trade bill that requires a program to helps workers who lose their jobs as a result of the trade bill was actually a good deal for America.

Maybe they should ask the Republican leadership for help, as they seem to have the answer for everything.

Meanwhile I’m sticking to my original position: I’m not in favor of any ObamaTrade Bill that doesn’t include a provision to Trade Obama for any Tom, Dick or Harry.

The Limits of White Privilege

Finally: some limits to white privilege. Apparently impersonating a black person is not covered, no matter how good your intentions. At least not if you’re a woman.

Jazz-Singer_thum

Just ask Rachel Dolezal, president of the NAACP's chapter in Spokane and also a part-time professor in the Africana Studies Program at Eastern Washington University.

Rachel, who claims to be white, black and Native American, was outed by her own mother to be of Czech, Swedish, and German ancestry, along with some "faint traces" of Native American heritage – like Elizabeth Warren except Rachel doesn’t even have high cheekbones. It seems this is all too nuanced of an issue for us plebes to comprehend though, so I’ll let the part time professor explain:

"That question is not as easy as it seems. There's a lot of complexities ... and I don’t know that everyone would understand that." Later, she said, "We're all from the African continent," an apparent reference to scientific studies tracing the origin of human life to east Africa.

Personally, I think she has ulterior motives – again, like Elizabeth Warren. Although I don’t think Rachel’s motive is political office; I smell a book deal. White Like Me, perhaps?

WLM_new_release

Sort of a catchy title. Of course, if Rachel had just been posing as a black MAN posing as a black woman that would have been entirely different. Trannies are all the rage right now; and that’s really just a matter of choice.

rue paul

And let’s face it, America just doesn’t need any more angry black women.

Hard Choices, Hard Blows

It started innocently enough, with Hilz’ first official Instagram:

hillary's hard choices

Butt it wasn’t long before the stilettos came out as Carly Fiorina’s Super PAC jumped in the fray:

“Hillary Clinton’s ‘hard choices’ are which pant suit to wear," said spokeswoman Leslie Shedd. "Carly Fiorina has laid out her positions on actual hard choices – whether on how to stop ISIS or how to re-invent government to actually make it work for the people it serves. Carly understands that our nation is at a pivotal point and we need a true leader in the Oval Office who understands the real hard choices Americans are currently facing."

The next thing you know: hand-to-hand combat:

Thank you Feminists of America, for finally leveling the playing field. And thank you – Feminist Moms of America - for following Crosby Stills and Nash’s sage advice to teach the children well.

“And feed them on your dreams, the one they fix, the one you'll know by.”

Where DID You Come From?

mo chicago

Coincidence? The students at King College Prep in South Chicago won this year’s prestigious “Win the FLOTUS” contest:

King College Prep landed the first lady as a graduation speaker by winning a video contest encouraging students to complete the “FAFSA” form — the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, a critical first step to securing financial assistance. - AP

Did they win for their skill at filling out forms for free stuff, or because it’s the school where Hadiya Pendleton would have graduated this year - had she not been gunned down walking home from school by a white policeman a gang of thugs from the hood when she and her friends were mis-mistaken for a rival gang.

Either way, Lady M seized the moment to honor Hadiya and her classmates by doing what she does best, talking about herself and her schtruggles, before ending her speech with this:

“Graduates, starting today, it is your job to make sure that no one is ever again surprised by who we are and where we come from.”

From now on we will be left to wonder where her hair came from. And went.

michelle-obama no hair

Note: Scheduling conflicts (?) prevented Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson from organizing a riot protest march for Hadiya.

CAUTION: Ongoing Destruction All Over Washington D.C.

“Our objective is clear: We will degrade, and ultimately destroy, ISIL." – Barack Obama

Our objective may be clear, butt our strategy is, well, unclear. As far as ISIL concerned anyway.

Meanwhile, on other fronts, if the objective is to degrade and ultimately destroy…I’m going to say “mission accomplished.”

SUPREME COURT

Additional CAUTION signs around Washington D.C. indicate ongoing Destruction remains in full swing on the Constitution, Congress and the Pentagon.

From Hot Rods to Blow Jobs in One Generation

A massive, silent cultural revolution has changed America. So, is this news to anyone?

“In the past decade or so, there’s been a silent revolution in American culture, one at least as profound as the ’60s upheavals.

We’ve hardly taken notice of it, because it happened in people’s minds instead of in the streets, happened in ordinary people instead of in the elites and the punditocracy.

Increasingly, we don’t want to judge others for anything, even if what they’re doing is destructive.”

Which led the author to ask:

“But is being non-judgmental the same as granting tacit approval, even support?”

I’ll let John Wesley answer that: “What one generation tolerates, the next generation will embrace.”

CLINTON BLOWJOBSLike freedom, culture also is never more than one generation away from extinction

Can you remember when calling someone a man of discriminating taste wasn’t a racist, sexist, privileged white-guy micro-aggression? If so, you might be an anachronism.

Proof of Intelligent Life on Planet Earth

calvin intelligent life

It ain’t much, butt take what you can get:

A new CNN/ORC poll released Wednesday shows that 52% of Americans have a positive view of Bush, while that same poll shows that only 49% of Americans asked said they have a positive view of President Obama.

Yes, you read that right, the American populace cast more Facebook likes this week for George W. Bush than Barack Hussein Obama. How many of you thought you’d live long enough to see a poll that showed Dubya more popular than the Second Coming?

falcon things fall apart yeats

Don’t worry though, in the land of the fickle, dickle and dumb those polls can change on a dime…
