Keystone Pipeline Quiz

Barack Hussein Obama, Joe Biden and John Kerry walk into a room…

usa-keystoneBO, Joe and Jean arrive for the Keystone Pipeline funeral

Question: how many degrees does the ambient I.Q. drop?

Yesterday, after 6 years of courting environmentalists, El Presidente finally stuck a fork in the Keystone Pipeline. Because he is the Decider.

And besides, who needs energy independence now that the Decider has stabilized relations with all the oil producing countries in the Middle East?  Indeed, who needs to rely on any of those disgusting fossil fuels when our Decider has paved the way for alternate energy sources like wind, solar, algae and corn.

wind solar algae corn

And don’t pay any attention to the Laborers’ International Union of North America who’s complaining (with their pocketbook) about the Decider throwing them under the bus. They’re just sore losers.

As for BHO, he stated definitively that “The pipeline would not make a meaningful long-term contribution to our economy,”  and he was committed to making that so. I can’t help but wonder though, if that’s going to be the criteria for green-lighting a project, how on earth do you explain Big Guy’s second election?

Related story: the Decider has now decided that the country has achieved “full employment’ with unemployment at 5% – even if it takes 94 million Americans being forced “out of the workforce” in order to do it. You’ve got to break a few eggs to create an anomaly like a jobless recovery.

The Declaration of Dependents

Our forefathers (a group of old rich white guys) risked everything in order to form a more perfect union. They fought for independence and sovereignty as a nation.

And now we have millions of illegal aliens – whose very presence conveys contempt for that sovereignty – who want to use the rights those old dead white guys fought for to demand their own rights. Seems fair enough, once you accept the fact that we’ve slipped one ring-of-hell further down the rabbit hole.

fantasy,candid,to,skate,alice,in,wonderland,conceptual,down,the,rabbit,hole-2b8d46663f8b865541afd4d1786af113_h

Except the “undocumented Americans” don’t really want to be independent; their demand is for their dependents to be… more dependent; just like millions of their “fellow” Americanos today.

An immigrant-rights group proposed a “Bill of Rights” for illegal immigrants Thursday, demanding that Americans recognize there are millions already in the country who deserve health care, in-state tuition rates for college and a guarantee of citizenship in the long term.

They want free K-12 education, EMT cards, Obamacare, unemployment insurance, and that free college tuition that Bernie and Hilz are promising. And what a charming group of dependents they are!

Here are Ricardo and Rosa, exercising their First Amendment right to address (profanely) how they feel about The Donald’s platform aimed at re-establishing a semblance of sovereignty to this country (Video HereWARNING: NSFW - Explicit Language).

Here's the transcript, in case you don’t want to watch a couple of little kids being used as pawns:

Hola, Donald Trump. Screaming, “get out of my country,” Republicans use offensive words, so here’s a few of our own. F*** you, racist f***. We’re Latino kids born in the USA, and we’ve got something to say. I’m Rosa. I’m Ricardo. My friends call me Rick, but you keep calling me anchor baby? Wow. Racist dick. When you say Mexican immigrants are rapists, murderers, and drug dealers, you know it’s racist code for words like spics, wetbacks and beaners. And you have attacked people for speaking Mexican in this nation. It’s Spanish, idiota. Maybe a little less hairspray and more education? Millions of working Latinos would be deported if you get your loco way, pendejo. If you’re in the White House, for America, there would be nothing but bad hair days. Yo, Trump. You may be high in the polls, thanks to pinches racist suckers, but your whole thing has to come from me if you try to deport my abuelita, motherf***ers! You see, the Constitution makes me a citizen, and you hate that because I’m brown! And you say you’re a patriot? But you want to tear the Bill of Rights? How? I’m an American, born in the USA. This is my home. You can’t take my rights away. If you don’t like our Constitution and what it stands for, get the f*** out of my country. There’s the door!

alice_in_wonderland door knob_image_3icfogoxnaurcsl

Butt wait - there’s more that the immigrants-rights group demands:

The list of demands runs 10 items long — the same as the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights — and also calls for an end to arrests and deportations for “all law-abiding undocumented Americans.”

Apparently they haven’t been subject to enough of the free American education system to know that “law-abiding undocumented Americans” is an oxymoron.

Would it be racist to suggest that in the future the “undocumented Americans” knock on the door first before letting themselves in?

all mad here alice

Sheriff David Clark: “Deal with it…”

I thought you might enjoy this exchange between Sheriff David Clark and Geraldo on Hannity. I lost track of how many times the Sheriff dresses Geraldo down:

Geraldo: “I think that’s harsh Sheriff…” Sheriff Clark: “Deal with it.”

Geraldo: “You cannot deny…” Sheriff Clark: “I just did.”

Wouldn’t it be fun to see Sheriff Clark interview Quentin Tarantino, rather than (trigger warning: micro-aggression) sissy boy Ms.NBC pseudo-personality Chris Hayes?

Hayes-Tarantino

In an interview Wednesday with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes the famed director said police should “stop shooting unarmed people,” and tried to paint himself as the victim of a smear campaign by police unions and supporters. --

“They are being inflammatory, they’re slandering me. I’m not a cop hater,” he said. “That’s the way they attack me, is calling me a cop hater. That’s the way Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, who’s on Fox all the time says that I’m putting police in danger by standing up for the rights of unarmed citizens who have been killed by the police.

I can hear Sheriff Clark now: “Deal with it.” Tarantino: “You can’t call me a cop hater.” Sheriff Clark: “I just did.”

Quentin continued his whine to Chris Hayes:

“They got in touch with me because I had made statements in some interviews, you know, along the way that had suggested that I’m on their side when it comes to this issue of, um, you know, ultimately what I feel is a problem of white supremacy in this country,” he said. “I was happy to show up.”

I tell you what Quent, you continue to be happy to show up for anti-cop BLM rallies and we’ll be happy to NOT show up for your next movie glorifying uber-violence and criminality.

Oh, and in other violent crime news, The San Jose Mercury News reports that the UC-Merced student who  stabbed four people and was shot and killed by university police has been identified as Faisal Mohammad, a freshman from Santa Clara. Police and FBI are still looking for a motive.

Let me give you a hint…

CAUTION SNOWFLAKES: Triggers Ahead

Election day highlights from around the country: Ohio nixes marijuana, San Francisco boots their Sanctuary City Sheriff and Kentucky elects a Republican governor whose black, female lieutenant governor running mate has a back story that sounds like a female version of Ben Carson’s.

Oh, and did I mention that both Governor-elect Matt Belvin and his Lt. Governor, Jenean Hampton, are Tea Party activists who have never held public office before?  That sounds like bad news for the DNC and the RNC. Connect the dots, Reince.

elephant-1

And as a follow-up on this week’s informal topic, free speech, there’s this killer article from the always wonderful Richard Fernandez: A World of Their Own. Snippets can’t do it justice, you’ll simply have to read the whole thing.

trigger3

The New York Times has a series of articles examining the causes of why an entire generation “has become less tolerant of free speech” noting the growing list of subjects or persons that are now banned on campuses to prevent people from freaking out.

High-profile speakers — Christine Lagarde, Condoleezza Rice — have been disinvited from or otherwise pushed out of commencement addresses, thanks to students who didn’t want to hear what they had to say. Comedians have sworn off performing at colleges because they say students can’t take a joke. ---

In defense of this trend, a recent graduate from Brown explained that certain points of view were intolerable to people and they saw no reason to endure it.  Therefore, a rising generation that simply wanted a “more inclusive and just world” has decided to exclude certain people and topics the way filters block unwanted signals.

campus trigger warning

In the past, when schools still regarded it their job to prepare the young for a world of danger and disappointment, mentors were expected to teach their students how to look unflinchingly at the facts.  In those days educated men were distinguished by their ability to gaze full upon the truth armed with a free speech, which as Eugene Volokh reminds, opened our eyes to the pleasant and unpleasant alike.

Today, we don’t want to know.  We don’t even want to know what we don’t know.  In all the wide world the only trigger warning that is forbidden is the one which alerts us to our own ignorance.

We are definitely not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy. No courage, no brain, no heart, no way home; just a “wizard” of smart.

And colleges everywhere seem just fine with that.

Resistance: It’s Not Futile

And speaking of the Constitution (we were) I wonder if this might be part of the problem:

On the other hand, 21% students -- and 30% of self-described liberals -- agreed with the statement that the 1st Amendment was an “outdated amendment that can no longer be applied in today’s society and should be changed.”

Also remarkable was the fact that 35% of respondents agreed that “hate speech is NOT protected under the 1st Amendment.”

I wonder where our children get such notions?

bill ayers

In March 2008 Ayers was elected (by a large majority of his peers) as Vice President for Curriculum Studies at the American Educational Research Association (AERA), putting him in a position to exert great influence over what is taught in America's teacher-training colleges and its public schools. Specifically, Ayers seeks to inculcate teachers-in-training with a “social commitment” to the values of “Marx,” and with a desire to become agents of social change in K-12 classrooms. Whereas “capitalism promotes racism and militarism,” Ayers explains, “teaching invites transformations” and is “the motor-force of revolution.” According to a former AERA employee, “Ayers' radical worldview, which depicts America as “the main source of the world's racism and oppression,” thoroughly “permeates” AERA.DiscoverTheNetworks

We are supposed to take comfort in the fact that 87% of the students in the poll agreed with the following statement:

“There is educational value in listening to and understanding views and opinions that I may disagree with and are different from my own.”

Although all that really does is reinforce my belief that poll results can largely be manipulated by the way the questions are worded. Because I’m sure if this group were to be asked whether allowing sexist/homophobic micro-aggressions in campus dialogue the same 87% would have voted a resounding “NO”.

Again, I blame the education system:

When the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper at Williams College recanted an editorial that had suggested that “some speech is too harmful to invite to campus,” she added this qualification: “Students should not face restrictions in terms of the speakers they bring to campus, provided of course that these speakers do not participate in forms of legally recognized hate speech.”

Uhh, excuse me Ms. Williams College editor, butt actually we don’t have “legally recognized hate speech” in this country. If that’s what you want you’ll have to move to Canada, Britain, France, Italy – or any one of the other Western nations where the concept of free speech has been reined in so as not to offend the newest citizens arriving daily by the boatload.

For students too busy attending BLM rallies, here’s the Cliff Notes version of the First Amendment: “hate speech” – it’s EXACTLY what is protected by numero uno in the Bill of Rights.

first-amendment

So my special little snowflakes, if you wish to retain the right to speak your mind on issues such as liberalism, socialism, political correctness, homosexual behavior, illegal aliens, homosexual 'marriage', abortion, Islam, gun control, polygamy, transgender behavior, adultery, fornication, pornography, Obama, environmentalism, global warming, and/or climate change” – you will be required to extend that same right to the people that you consider “haters” and “racists.”  The hive mentality is simpler, butt really – you must resist. Because resistance is not futile:

Gaslighting or Audiographic Memory: Which Superpower Will Win the Day?

Yesterday we discussed gaslighting – a manipulative technique defined by ever increasing frequency of systematically withholding factual information and/or providing false information with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity.

Variations of this technique have been known in the past as  “disinformation” “newspeak” and “agitprop.”

Today I would like to discuss a skill that is quite useful in fighting this form of abuse: “audiographic memory” -  a variant of photographic memory in which a person is capable of remembering verbatim everything they’ve ever heard. It is an especially effective skill to have when arguing or debating with people who practice gaslighting techniques.

Hey - I know a guy with an audiographic memory!

Cruz 2012

Maybe he’d be good choice to debate Hillary. He could help her out because at her age she seems to have trouble remembering stuff that happened just a few weeks ago let alone a few years ago. Butt seriously, what difference at this point does it make?

hillary and the mean boyz

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

ted cruz-superman 280

My super power is remembering everything you ever said; what’s yours Hillary?

Warning Hillary: your gaslighting days are about to be challenged.

What Time Is It? Time To Go Forth and Spread the Word.

“Gaslighting” This is not a new video butt as each passing week and month indicates, much of America has yet to get the word.

As Bill Whittle explains, “gaslighting” is a term derived from the movie by the same name in which a husband seeks to get his wife out of the way by having her committed. He does this by repeatedly denying her reality; by telling her that things she has seen and heard really didn’t happen, or didn’t happen the way she thinks they did. In the old Soviet Union this was known as agitprop.

Be sure to take notes; there will not be a test butt there are a lot of brethren out there who still need to learn the truth of the lie.

So go forth and spread the word, because sociopaths are dangerous to our health and replacing one sociopath with another simply accelerates the speed with which we commit collective suicide.

And now, an important Public Service Announcement: NASA is in dire need of a FORTAN programmer. Paging JanicetheElder, Mr. Creeper and anyone else who still possesses this arcane skill. NASA forgot to upgrade Voyager’s programming as it was too busy shifting its emphasis to a Muslim outreach program.
