May You Be Thrice Blessed

President Obama, at the Black Caucus Foundation Dinner Saturday night:

"I’ve been so blessed to have a wife and a partner on this journey who makes it look so easy," he said, according to the White House transcript. "And is so strong, so honest and so beautiful and so smart."

Well you know what they say – one (wo)man’s blessing is another man’s curse.

Like couture, it all depends on how you wear it

And while Barry’s blessing sounds more like a Chinese curse to me, let me to be the first to say “may you be thrice blessed.” And I really mean it.
