Today my friends we are taking a little break from politics (or to Democrats “the politics of destruction”) in order to hold a virtual homecoming for Creeper, who landed at her new Oklahoma homestead yesterday.

Anyone, anywhere, any time who disagree with him

Let me reiterate: Barry really, really dislikes people who disagree with him, that includes his premise, his ideas, his policies - all of which are both right and just. And if you don’t agree with wealth re-distribution and open borders you are simply wrong, wrong wrong! And probably stupid. And you need to stop clinging to your guns and religion (assuming it’s not Islam) and just shut up.

And that’s why Barack Hussein Obama began his presidency with a worldwide apology tour for America. He intended to end it with a world-wide victory lap, butt Hillary and all the stupid people let him down so he was forced to turn it into a sour grapes tour. As such he took the opportunity to lecture Trump from abroad; telling him that “campaigning is different from governing” – although I’m not sure how he’d know – and that Mr. Trump would have to “stand up to Russia,” again, something Barry would know very little about.

You can interpret Barry’s earlier stop in Greece - the "cradle of democracy" - where he toured the Acropolis  one of two ways. Either as symbolic of a leader whose legacy is crumbling around him like the walls of the Parthenon:

Or as an indication that the white columns still standing after 2500 years of wars and internal strife are emblematic of the strength of a republic based on the promise of democracy.

Suck It Up, Buttercup; You DID Build This Fire

Does anyone else find it curious that Jesse Jackson called for a presidential pardon of Hillary Clinton yesterday?

Mumbling his way through a prepared statement at the University Michigan in Ann Arbor yesterday Jackson said:

"President Ford said we don't need (Nixon) for trophy. We need to move on. President Nixon wasn't convicted of a crime. He didn't apply for a pardon. (Ford) did it because he thought it would be best for the country.

Had she won the election on November 8th the comparison between President Ford pardoning President Nixon for his assumed crimes may have made sense. Assuming you believe Hillary is guilty of something. Which apparently Jesse Jackson does.

"Hillary Clinton has not been tried, but there are those who want to drag her for the next three years. It will not stop until they find a reason to put her in jail. That would be a travesty."

“Until they find a reason to put her in jail?” Like what, setting up a private server for the sole purpose of protecting her communications from public scrutiny via FOIA requests, setting her lawyers about to destroy evidence, and making classified materials available for foreign hackers? Or was he thinking perhaps about all of the crimes committed by the Clinton Foundation’s “Global Initiative” scam to fund Bill and Hillary’s lifestyle and her presidential campaign?

Never mind all that, remember when Trump said “pussy?” We were not amused.

And as Jesse pointed out yesterday, Trump’s the one who caused this horrible mess and it’s up to him to fix it.

"The one who set the field afire must be the one to put it out," he told the Free Press in a one-on-one interview. "He had the option to pour water on it (the dry field) and let it grow. He didn't do that — he chose to light it on fire. One of my concerns is that we see the division in America now because of that. We see classmates, roommates in a conflict over the way the campaign turned out.

Gee, yeah, who would pour fuel on a volatile fire like that?

Revolutions Aren’t What They Used To Be

Most revolutions, including the American, start out with protests. The concept being to attract attention to your cause and gain support.

It’s curious then that the Portland protesters demanded that media crews NOT film them, and occasionally going so far as to attack TV crews with a baseball bat if they refused to comply.

 

You say you got a real solution

We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution

We're doing what we can

Now why would that be? Possibly because the protesters being hauled around the country by charter bus are the usual suspects? The fact that 69% of those unlucky or stupid enough to get arrested were “not from around here”? And didn’t even take the time to vote last week?  We’re going to have to add a new term to the American protest lexicon: a “known protester” – “a person who arrives by bus seemingly out of ‘nowhere’  to protest whatever egregious action has warranted the wrath of the professionally and perpetually outraged” (aka “outside agitators”).

The press however seems more upset that Trump went out to dinner without them, then they do that a bunch of hired thugs dictating the terms of their own coverage. And for that matter they don’t seem very upset about the fact that yuge social media behemoths are shutting down entire elements of society they find disagreeable.

The Stupid Cow Theory

Good news: The cow family stranded by the New Zealand earthquake has been saved.

The patch of grass was surrounded by deep ravines of collapsed earth, trapping the animals

A valiant farmer told Newshub about the rescue mission which successfully saved the lives of the bovine family.

“We managed to get a track in and bring them out,” he said.

“They desperately needed water, cows don’t like living without water so that was the first requirement.”

He said a fault line had run along the farm, killing many cows, and that fourteen had been saved in total.

Not so lucky: the cow family in America stranded by the Trump earthquake.

The fault lines here ran so deep and so long that no such path was available for their safe exit. And where the fault lines weren’t as yuge there were oceans, so nowhere to go.

Let me just say that when you are the current Commander in Chief it’s fine to pick a horse in the next race butt probably not wise to denigrate the manhood of the other horse in the race.

Obama delivered some of his harshest anti-Trump remarks yet in a self-described “rant” in Canada Wednesday — deeming the brash billionaire a xenophobe, a demagogue, a cynic, a divider and an enemy of the working class…

Cracking a smile, he concluded, “Sorry. This is one of the prerogatives of when you’re at the end of your term. You just kinda go on these occasional rants.” – NYDailyNews

Hence, the #1 reason  a sitting President ought not criticize the opposition candidate running as his replacement: that horse might win. It doesn’t seem you have to be the smartest man in the world to figure that out.

The moral of the story: before you put all your money on one horse, make sure the horse is healthy enough to finish the race. And while I hate to point this out, it might also be a good idea to verify that the horse isn’t in fact a stupid cow. Rhetorically speaking.

Everything Once “Racist” Is Cool Again

Finally, some good news for Hillary! Dissent, along with 9 other things, is going to be really, really cool again in America come January 20th:

At one time, dissent was considered “the highest form of patriotism.” That time was when George W. Bush was president. Dissent was so patriotic that Sen. John Kerry felt compelled to fabricate a quote from Thomas Jefferson in order to highlight dissent’s importance. When Obama took office, dissent immediately was no longer vital; overnight, dissent became racist.

Opposing Obama’s pick to replace Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court? Racist. Opposing Obama’s disastrous nuclear deal with Iran? Racist. Opposing Obamacare? You guessed it: racist.

Under a President Trump, though, dissent will go back to being rock solid evidence of one’s patriotism and commitment to racial equality. No longer will dissent make you (a) dirty racist pining for slavery. Nearly overnight, Donald Trump made dissent cool again.

Here’s the complete list of things that Progressives think will make America great again now that The Donald is here (via Larwyn’s Linx):

1) Making Jokes about the President

The author says “The only question is whether their jokes will be funny, rather than just bitter and angry.” I think Wanda Sykes already answered that question.

2) Gridlock and Obstruction

AO (after Obama) the New York Times will re-discover how essential it is to preserve the filibuster in order to safeguard democracy.

Democrats will follow suit.

3) Limits on Executive Power

The Trump presidency will instantly restore the belief in limited executive powers. A pen and a phone will no longer suffice.

4) War Protests

Packed up and stored away for the last 8 years protests will be all the rage again, once war again becomes an exclusively Republican phenomenon.

5) Dissent – see above

6) Investigative Journalism – this one’s my personal favorite:

“Thanks to Donald Trump, investigative journalism just went from totally unnecessary to vital. During Obama’s presidency, there was no need to investigate anything, mainly because there was nothing whatsoever to investigate. The Obama administration, after all, was completely ‘scandal free’”

7) Denying the President’s Legitimacy

All I can say is friends really shouldn’t help friends deny the president-elect’s legitimacy with permanent marker.

8) The Constitution -

After 8 years of ignoring all clauses other than  Article II, which defines the powers of the presidency, we will rediscover all the other clauses and especially the parts that define the limits of said powers

9) Democracy – they want “pure” democracy

Until such time as it goes the wrong way of course

10) Secession – what once was racist will now be…patriotic. Or something.

Have a Cupcake and Suck It Up

Demonstrators with signs reading "Not my president!" clogged streets, set fires, and smashed windows across the country again yesterday, with Portlandia as the epicenter.

Now we find out that this organic grass-fed protest movement is as organic, grass-fed, and grass-rooted as Occupy Wall Street, Ferguson, Baltimore et al. How do we know?

First tell: they always have funding from some Commie organization -

and the “protests” always devolve into destruction. They’re always the same; can you tell the difference?

All of the current “protests” are funded by various groups affiliated with “Anonymous” - theoretically an Anarchist group that appeals to youth and other disaffected groups:

Wake up cupcakes! Trump was elected president and there are flags to burn! Demands to be made!

This time they’re funded by a group calling themselves the “ANSWER Coalition” which emerged – organically - following Trump’s win with this announcement:

“In a shock result, Donald Trump has been elected president – but the people can rise up and defeat his bigoted, extreme right wing agenda!” ANSWER said in a post-election statement. “The ANSWER Coalition is mobilizing across the country to organize and take part in emergency actions.”

And the ANSWER group in turn is funded by the “Progress Unity Fund” which is run by a bunch of Marxist, Leninist, anti-semitic, anti-American haters.

Whoops! Wrong haters.

This time protestors were admonished that if they are going to use signs to make them by hand so they don’t all look the same – like they were provided by somebody funding their protests. So this time they just told their useful idiots what to put on their handmade signs.

Unfortunately they didn’t give specific instructions for what and where to print your message.

I think I understand the snowflakes dilemma however. I suspect that the cupcake generation doesn’t actually understand how our electoral system works as they now learn social justice in K-12 rather than American Civics. So I’ve prepared a simple explanation for them that I think they’ll be able to grasp: Elections are NOT like “OMG, I slept through my final exam.! I’m going to need a do-over!” They’re more like the end of a football game; for better or worse, love it or hate it, it goes into the record book of life. Suck it up, buttercup.

I don’t care how upset you are.

I know honey, have a cupcake. It’ll make you feel better.

PS: Although both Detroit newspapers called Michigan for Trump 3 days ago, AP finally conceded after 100% of the votes had been counted. Wouldn’t want a rush to judgement.
