Imagine if you will a world in which “independent conservative” Mark Roberts tweeted this about a black FLOTUS:
The blowback would have spread the California wildfire all the way to Oregon by now.
In fact, I believe Imus got fired for a similarly tasteless and offensive remark about black women - and that was long before #BlackLivesMatter and #MeToo turned the country into a bunch of hyper-sensitive racist/sexist hypochondriacs.
Mind you, Roberts isn’t really any kind of conservative, independent or otherwise. But somehow this creepy guy is what is imagined as a conservative in certain parts of Oregon. I understand he’s a third tier wannabe without a chance of winning his race for the House but with a high need to be noticed. Duly noted, Marky.
And by the way, eat your heart out, squirrel boy.
