To be clear, Bloomie is cast as Bane, not the Dark Knight
Mean Girls,
Type-cast, but rightly so
and Idiocracy.
Not a good look Dems. It was bad enough when Democrats booed God at their convention in 2012. Last night they also booed capitalism. Bloomberg, addressing his fellow Democrats who were all blasting capitalism:
“That's ridiculous. We're not going to throw out capitalism. We tried that, other countries tried that. It was called communism and it just didn't work.”
The crowd moaned and booed. What are we to assume other than the Democrats have become the godless communist brand?
Remember John Edwards’ “Two Americas” speech in 2004? Like Orwell’s 1984 it turned out the Dems used it not as a warning but a guidebook. They spent the next 16 years assuring that America became a country of Haves and Have Nots that are represented respectively by Bloomberg, a tyrant, and Sanders, a communist. As a result we now have 3 Americas: Bloomberg’s Haves, Sanders’ Have Nots and Trump’s True Americans. Put your money on True Americans. Every. Damn. Time.
Best Line of the Night, unattributed: “Mike Bloomberg brought a wallet to a gunfight.”
