I checked back to see what my thoughts were on Election Day, 2016. They were very similar to what they are today. I included a quote that surprisingly feels even more right today:

Do remember what an amazing thing happened in 2016 and prepare to have it happen all over again – despite all odds – because President Donald J. Trump speaks for us. Never forget that.
