General Milley knew what was going to happen as soon as we left Afghanistan, although he played word games with the inevitable:

So now we’re sending 3000 more Marines to evacuate the Americans left behind and some of the Afghani who helped us as the Taliban prepares to take the city of Kabul. Just like Vietnam…of wait: Joey said that would NEVER happen.
