John Boehner says he’s done dealing with Big Guy one-on-one.
Which is just as well, since Big Guy had already said that he "will not have another debate with this Congress over whether or not they should pay the bills that they've already racked up” [for my transformation of America plan].”
Unclear how the Constitution feels about “negotiations” regarding the debt ceiling, butt pretty sure it grants that underlying responsibility to the legislators. Then again, as noted above, Big Guy is transforming America, and this may be just one small aspect of that transformation.
Actually, if the Speaker and the President refuse to deal with each other, that could be good news! It means that maybe we can get back to the way the Constitution intended issues of national importance be addressed: an open debate on the floor of Congress. Now that would be refreshing; transparency we could believe.
Because when the loyal opposition decides to participate in their own demise instead of fighting back, politics is about as much fun as watching a game of solitaire. With a stacked deck.
Because it’s good to be king
Mark Levin – who, as you may know, is not very happy with Big Guy, Mitchy or BooHoo Boehner -
would probably approve of this new approach to transparency in government:
Mark Levin
Butt getting back to the major proposition: since it’s much more fun when the loyal opposition fights back, many have wondered why some of those “rich old white guys” on the Right don’t put their money together and buy part of the government media complex in order to get in the game. Either they don’t understand how propaganda works, how the media facilitates its working, or they’re too busy creating jobs and wealth to run a successful media complex.
Butt here’s my take: if Algore - inventor of the Internet and Global Warming, inspiration for Love Story, chief broker for the invisible, odorless, tasteless, carbon credit industry, and internationally recognized love poodle had time to create the Al-TeeVeera network, now worth a half-billion dollars - I don’t see why other business moguls couldn’t do the same.
Yes, Frasier gave it a shot with the now defunct RIGHTNETWORK which, despite a brilliant Editor-In-Chief (Gerard) and featured articles by moi, never put enough resources into the game to get its wheels off the ground. And sure, Glenn Beck is building Blaze TV (now on Dish Network Channel 212). But where are the el Rushbo’s, the Koch brothers, the Donald, the Amway boys, the Marriotts? Heck, if Mitt had bought a TV network with his money and ability to raise money instead of running for president, there might be a member of the loyal opposition at the helm now. It’s not too late Mitt...and I’m available!
Somebody has to pick up where Breitbart left off:
What Breitbart understood, and what all too many establishment Republicans and even conservatives don’t, is that there is no accommodating the left, and there is no hope of receiving fair treatment from the left-dominated establishment press. The left is hellbent on fundamentally transforming the country into a socialist utopia which has never succeeded anywhere it has been tried, and the press is determined to help them do that. Folks, no matter what you do, they’re going to hate you (and hate is the right word). So you might as well do the right thing and follow your beliefs and principles (John “Plan B” Boehner, please note).
This country now has a government headed by the most radical president in U.S. history, one with the worst economic record since Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal extended the Great Depression by eight years. He nevertheless won reelection largely because his opponent conceded too much ground and wouldn’t fight hard enough for what remained.
Barack Obama and the left believe they have only just begun. Sensible, Constitution-anchored conservatives need to start acting as an army of Breitbarts.
As you may have learned when you are younger, being right is not enough. If you can’t convince others that you are right, will make the right choice, have the right answer or know the right course to follow you won’t win the class presidency, the plum assignment or that promotion. If your ideas do not get the time of day and your values are kept like a light under a bushel, your “messaging” won’t “resonate.” Especially when the rest of the government media complex is hell-bent to propagate an alternate reality. Remember: “It’s not what you know, it’s what people think you know.” (h/t: el Rushbo)
“Winky = Blinky and Plugs” h/t: Gerard
How many more sardine kissers do we need on TeeVee anyway?
Because seriously, if MSM pushes the “L” ( ) button for Big Guy any more frequently than they already do
they’re going to have to get a room.
So what do you say? How about a Loyal Opposition Media Complex? Because somebody has to Breitbart the world; before it’s too late.
